The prenatal care of midwife

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit vliv prenatální péče porodní asistentky na průběh těhotenství a porodu. Výzkumu se zúčastní těhotné ženy, navštěvující prenatální poradnu a ženy po porodu. Metodika: Pro získání požadovaných údajů byl použit autorem výzkumu vytvořený nestandardizovaný anonymní dotazník, který byl podán všem česky mluvícím ženám navštěvující předporodní kurz a ležící po porodu na oddělení šestinedělí v Městské nemocnici v Ostravě. Výsledky: Absolvování předporodní péče měla pro ženy velký vliv na jejich těhotenství a průběh porodu ? uklidňoval je pocit, že jsou se svým dítětem kontrolovány a těhotenství probíhá v pořádku. V oblasti případných komplikací se nepotvrdil fakt, který by naznačoval, že vznik komplikací v těhotenství byl zapříčiněn neabsolvováním prenatální péče. Závěr: Dnešní moderní vedení prenatální péče a zkušenosti porodních asistentek má velký vliv na průběh těhotenství a porodu, díky takovému posunu v porodnictví a vyššího vzdělání porodních asistentek, se zlepšuje komunikace a vztah mezi nimi a těhotnou ženou.

Abstract:

Goal: The aim of this work is to determine the influence of the prenatal care given by midwives on pregnancy and childbirth. This research will include pregnant women who were attending prenatal care and women after giving birth. Methods: An anonymous questionnaire elaborated by the author of the research was used in order to obtain the required data. This was submitted to all the Czech-speaking women attending prenatal course and lying in puerperium department at the City Hospital in Ostrava. Results: Completion of the prenatal care had a big impact for women on their pregnancy and during giving birth - they were relaxed by feeling that their children and they are checked and the pregnancy is properly going on. In the field of possible complications, no fact which indicate that the occurrence of complications in pregnancy was caused by non-finishing of prenatal care was confirmed. Conclusion: A modern management of prenatal care nowadays and the experience of midwives influence over process of pregnancy and childbirth. Thanks to the progress in obstetrics field and a higher education of the midwives, the communication and the relationship between them and a pregnant woman got improved.
