Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou polohování pacientů na pracovišti intenzivní péče. Práce nastiňuje i kontext fyzické náročnosti pro zdravotnický personál. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zabývá polohováním pacientů, pomůckami určenými k polohování pacientů. Dále práce zmiňuje různé pohledy na polohování pacientů, jako kinestetický přístup, přístup dle Bobatha a konceptu bazální stimulace. Jedna kapitola je věnována fyzické manipulaci s pacientem. Pro diplomovou práci byly vytvořeny čtyři cíle. Prvním cílem bylo zmapovat problematiku polohování na pracovišti intenzivní péče z pohledu sester. Druhým cílem bylo zjistit, zda mají sestry pracující na jednotce intenzivní péče dostatek polohovacích pomůcek, které jim vyhovují. Třetím cílem bylo zjistit, zda sestry pracující na jednotce intenzivní péče hodnotí informace týkající se polohování získané během studia jako dostatečné a to i v souvislosti s ochranou vlastního zdraví. Čtvrtým cílem bylo zjistit, zda se sestry potýkají s problémy pohybového aparátu v souvislosti s manipulací s pacienty. Výzkum pro tato zjištění byl zvolen kvalitativní a byl vyhotoven semistrukturovaný rozhovor pro sestry pracující na intenzivní péči.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis addresses the issue of patient positioning in the intensive care unit, as well as the physical demands on medical personnel. It is divided into a theoretical and an empirical section. The theoretical portion of the thesis examines patient positioning and the tools designed for this purpose. Additionally, the study discusses various perspectives on patient positioning, including the kinesthetic approach, the Bobath approach, and the concept of basal stimulation. A separate chapter is dedicated to the physical manipulation of patients. Four objectives were established for this thesis. The first goal was to examine the issue of positioning in the intensive care workplace from the nurses’ perspective. The second objective aimed to determine whether nurses working in the intensive care unit have access to adequate positioning aids that meet their needs. The third objective sought to establish whether nurses in the intensive care unit consider the information on positioning obtained during their studies sufficient, particularly in relation to protecting their own health. The fourth goal was to investigate whether nurses experience musculoskeletal issues related to patient manipulation. The empirical section is based on qualitative research, with semi-structured interviews conducted with nurses working in intensive care units serving as the primary method for gathering necessary information.
