Instrument of the European Union URBACT II (case study Czech Republic)

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá operačním programem URBACT II a podporou rozvoje měst ze strany EU. Úvodní část popisuje vývoj iniciativy URBAN I a II a komplexně analyzuje program URBACT II, kdo se do něj může zapojit, jaké projekty a témata jsou podporovány, jak je program řízen apod. Zaměřuje se také na analýzu zapojení evropských měst do tohoto programu a na očekávaný vývoj v období 2014 až 2020. Práce také obsahuje zhodnocení zapojení českých měst do programu URBACT. Analyzuje která města jsou zapojena do projektů a jakých témat se tyto projekty týkají, co je jejich výstupem a nebo jaké jsou jejich dopady.

Abstract:

This work deals with the URBACT II Operational Programme and EU supporting the development of cities. The introductory part describes the development of URBAN I and II initiative and comprehensively analyzes the URBACT II - who can participate in it, what projects and themes are supported, how is the program managed, etc. It also focuses on the analysis of European cities involved in this program and the expected development in the period 2014 to 2020. The work also includes evaluation of the involvement of Czech cities in the URBACT. Analyzes which cities are involved in projects and what topics these projects deal with, what is their output or what are their impacts.
