Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu sentimentu českých titulků různých žánrů filmů. V průběhu práce je implementováno několik fází, přičemž první zahrnuje pečlivý sběr dat. Tato fáze spočívá ve stažení českých titulků filmů různých žánrů. Titulky jsou během stahování podrobeny úpravám za využití vlastního skriptu, jehož funkcionalita zahrnuje například odstranění nežádoucích znaků, korekci chybných mezer a přiřazení každé věty vlastnímu řádku. Současně jsou data obohacena o relevantní informace, jako jsou například žánr filmu, jméno režiséra nebo rok uvedení filmu. Součástí bakalářské práce je také tvorba korpusu ze všech stažených a následně upravených titulků, které jsou obohaceny o zmíněná metadata. Analýza sentimentu, která následuje, se zaměřuje na zkoumání emocionálního kontextu v jednotlivých žánrech. Pro tento účel je využitý specializovaný nástroj vhodný pro analýzu sentimentu českého textu. Cílem bakalářské práce je identifikovat potenciální variace v projevu sentimentu mezi různými filmovými žánry prostřednictvím českých titulků. Výsledky této analýzy poskytují cenné poznatky o tom, jak daný specializovaný nástroj dokáže zanalyzovat sentiment v českých titulcích s ohledem na konkrétní žánry filmů. Bakalářská práce přináší komplexní pohled na problematiku sentimentu v českých titulcích a může sloužit jako základ pro další výzkum v oblasti jazykové analýzy sentimentu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the sentiment of Czech subtitles of different film genres. Several phases are implemented in the course of the thesis, the first of which involves careful data collection. This phase consists of downloading Czech subtitles of films of different genres. During the download, the subtitles are subjected to editing using a custom script whose functionality includes, for example, removing unwanted characters, correcting incorrect spaces and assigning each sentence to its own line. At the same time, the data is enriched with relevant information such as the genre of the film, the name of the director or the year of release. The bachelor thesis also includes the creation of a corpus from all downloaded and subsequently edited subtitles, which are enriched with the aforementioned metadata. The analysis of sentiment that follows focuses on the exploration of emotional context in individual genres. For this purpose, a specialized tool suitable for sentiment analysis of Czech text is used. The aim of the thesis is to identify potential variations in the expression of sentiment between different film genres through Czech subtitles. The results of this analysis provide valuable insights into how a given specialized tool can analyze sentiment in Czech subtitles with regard to specific film genres. The bachelor thesis provides a comprehensive view on the issue of sentiment in Czech subtitles and can serve as a basis for further research in the field of linguistic sentiment analysis.
