The subject of the presented bachelor's thesis is the analysis of the origins and consolidation of the absolutist form of government and its manifestations in France, using the example of the arrest and trial of one of the representatives of the aristocratic class, Nicolas Fouquet. Predmetom predkladanej bakalárskej práce je analýza vzniku a upevňovania absolutistickej formy vlády a jej prejavov vo Francúzsku na príklade zatknutia a súdneho procesu s jedným z predstaviteľov aristokratickej vrstvy, Nicolasom Fouquetom.
