Abstract:

Bakalářská práce analyzuje příčiny a průběh hypoteční krize ve Spojených státech amerických. Nejprve je poskytnut pohled na jednotlivé příčiny, které se podílely na jejím vzniku, a následném rozšíření do celého světa. Zde jasně narážíme na špatné nastavení bankovního systému, špatný vliv sekuritizace, střet zájmu ratingových agentur a také provádění nedůsledné politiky ze strany centrální banky a vlády. V další části je práce zaměřena na samotný průběh hypoteční krize, dění uvnitř americké ekonomiky a v poslední řadě na analýzu problémů vybraných významných finančních institucí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis analyzes the causes and course of the mortgage crisis in the United States of America. At first, it is given a glimpse into the individual causes that have contributed to its origin and subsequent spread to the whole world. Here we clearly see the malfunctioning of the banking system, the bad impact of securitization, the focus of credit rating agencies, and the implementation of incoherent policy by the central bank and government. In the next part, the thesis focuses on the actual course of the mortgage crisis, the events within the US economy and, lastly, on the analysis of the problems of selected major financial institutions.
