Social firm as a new model of labour and social integration of the disabled - a substitute or an alternative to a classic sheltered workshop?

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je Sociální firma jako nový model pracovního a sociálního začlenění zdravotně znevýhodněných – náhrada nebo alternativa klasické chráněné dílny? Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké možnosti sociálního a pracovního začlenění nabízejí opatření zaměstnávající zdravotně znevýhodněné, které se prezentují jako sociální firma a chráněná dílna. Teoretická část se věnuje problematice osob znevýhodněných na trhu práce, zejména osob se zdravotním znevýhodněním, a možnostem jejich pracovního a sociálního začlenění. Blíže je v práci popsána chráněná pracovní dílna, sociální ekonomika a sociální podnik, zvláště sociální firma. Práce zahrnuje také metodiku výzkumného projektu, která vysvětluje použití kvalitativní výzkumné strategie metodou srovnání dvou případových studií. V empirické části je obsažena analýza a interpretace dat, jsou vyvozeny závěry a zodpovězeny dílčí výzkumné otázky a následně hlavní výzkumná otázka. Rozsah základního textu je 12 252 slov.

Abstract:

Topic of this diploma thesis is called Social firm as a new model of labour and social integration of the disabled – a substitute or an alternative to a classic sheltered workshop? The main aim of the thesis is to find which opportunities in social and labour integration are offered by remedies employing the disabled and presented as a social firm and a sheltered workshop. Theoretical part of thesis devotes to question of the disadvantaged on labour market, especially the disabled. Next element of theoretical part is an opportunity to labour and social integration of the disabled. There is also closer description of sheltered workshop, social economics, social company and social firm. Thesis also includes a part of methodology that explains application of qualitative research strategy with method of comparison of two case studies. In the empirical part there are included analyses and interpretation of dates; conclusions are deduced and the sub-questions and subsequently the main research question are answered.
