Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce s titulem „Principy práce filmového osvětlovače“ pojednává o principech práce filmového osvětlovače – gaffera. Mapuje jeho roli v kontextu filmového štábu a věnuje se tomu, jaké má funkce. Měla by čtenáři nabídnout vhled do procesu příprav a povinností na place, do práce s osvětlovačskou technikou a elektřinou. Zabývá se technicky-kreativními praktikami gaffera a jeho spolupracovníků při svícení jednotlivých záběrů a v neposlední řadě se snaží o definici hranic kreativního aspektu jeho práce. Práce je založena především na odborné literatuře a na rozhovorech se třemi respondenty, profesionály z filmového odvětví.

Abstract:

This Bachelor's thesis with the title "Principles of Work of a Gaffer in Film Production'' deals with the principles of work of the Head Film Lighting Technician – a Gaffer. It maps his role in the context of a film crew and looks at what his functions are. It should offer the reader an insight into the process of preproduction and on-set duties, the work with lighting equipment and electricity. It examines the technical-creative practices of a gaffer and his collaborators in lighting individual shots and ultimately seeks to define the boundaries of the creative aspects of his work. The thesis is mainly based on specialized literature and on interviews with three respondents, film industry professionals.
