Social services focused on the issue of national minorities in Most

Abstract:

Diskuse o menšinách a jejich integrace se v zemích EU výrazně rozvinuly především v souvislosti s masovou migrací v období 2014-2015. Českou republiku tato migrační vlna zasáhla pouze částečně, ale to neznamená, že zde problematika národnostních a etnických menšin a neexistuje. Příslušníci těchto skupin žili a žijí na našem území po staletí a vždy byla hlavní otázkou jejich schopnost zapojit se do života země, která se stala jejich novým domovem. Ačkoliv je výrazná většina z nich schopna a ochotna pravidla společnosti přijmout, část příslušníků menšin potřebuje v tomto směru určitý stupeň podpory. V České republice působí řada sociálních organizací, které se zaměřují na tuto pomoc, přičemž jako velmi efektivní se jeví subjekty, které působí na komunální úrovni. Cílem této bakalářské práce je vyhodnocení zapojení sociálních služeb statutárního města Most v oblasti integrace menšin. Na konkrétním subjektu prezentovat cíle, strukturu, aktivity a financování tohoto zařízení.

Abstract:

Discussions on minorities and their integration in the EU countries have developed significantly, especially in connection with mass migration in the period 2014-2015. The Czech Republic was only partially affected by this wave of migration, but this does not mean that the issue of national and ethnic minorities does not exist here. Members of these groups have lived and continue to live in our territory for centuries, and their main concern has always been their ability to participate in the life of the country that has become their new home. Although the vast majority of them are able and willing to accept the rules of society, some members of minorities need a certain degree of support in this regard. There are a number of social organizations in the Czech Republic that focus on this assistance, and entities that operate at the municipal level appear to be very effective. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the involvement of social services of the statutory city of Most in the field of integration of minorities. Present the goals, structure, activities and financing of this facility at a specific entity.
