Additive manufacturing and its impacts on the world trade

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem aditivní výroby a jejími dopady na světový trh. V začátku práce nejprve seznamuje čtenáře s pojmem aditivní výroba a objasňuje, jak technologie 3D tisku funguje. Krátce nastiňuje ne příliš vzdálenou historii, popisuje používané technologie a materiály, ukazuje využití a uplatnění a zmiňuje jak výhody, tak nevýhody tohoto odvětví. Dále se práce zabývá světovým trhem aditivní výroby. Nabízí stručný výčet výrobců technologie a rozebírá její situaci ve všech světových regionech i v České republice. V další části práce pojednává o vlivech a dopadech 3D tisku na světový trh, které se mohou jevit negativně i pozitivně. Ačkoli má aditivní výroba schopnost kladně působit na určité aspekty a nabídnout nové příležitosti, její působení na trhu může přinést nepříznivý vliv či potenciální hrozby. V závěru je čtenáři poskytnuto krátké shrnutí této nové technologie a jejího vstupu na světový trh.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of additive manufacturing and its impact on the world market. At the beginning, the thesis initially introduces the term additive manufacturing to the reader and clarifies how the technology of 3D print works. It briefly outlines not very distant history, describes used technologies and materials, demonstrates uses and applications and mentions both advantages and disadvantages of this branch. Further, this thesis deals with the world market of additive manufacturing. It offers a concise list of producers and examines its situation at all world regions and the Czech Republic. In the next part, the thesis discusses the influences and impacts of 3D print on the world trade, which could appear negatively as well as positively. Although additive manufacturing is able to be having favourable effect on specific aspects and offer new opportunities, its operation on the market could produce an adverse effect or potential threats. In conclusion, short summarization of this new technology and its entry to the world trade is provided to the reader.
