Investment and financing the construction of photovoltaic power plants

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o investici do fotovoltaické elektrárny, uvedené do provozu v roce 2010. Obsahem práce je problematiky fotovoltaických elektráren a investice do výstavby FVE. Teoretická část je rozdělena do dvou částí, na část, která popisuje možnosti využití alternativních zdrojů energie a druhá polovina teoretické části řeší možnosti hodnocení investicí a postup, jaký je třeba dodržet, aby bylo dosaženo kvalitních podkladů pro vyhodnocení plánované investice. Součástí praktické části je návrh investičního projektu pro reálnou fotovoltaickou elektrárnu umístěnou na budově organizace. Dále praktická část obsahuje investiční proces v plném rozsahu, návrh jednotlivých fází investičního procesu. V předinvestiční fázi jsou provedeny analýzy pro vyhodnocení investice, zda ji realizovat, nebo nikoliv a jaké jsou možnosti organizace na financování výstavby solární elektrárny. Dále je navržen harmonogram prací, podle kterého je třeba postupovat, aby byla investice realizována včas a solární elektrárna uvedena do provozu tak, jak bylo plánováno. Závěr praktické části diplomové práce řeší rozdíly, které nastaly během životního cyklu investice, a dále popisuje vliv změny legislativy na návratnost investice.

Abstract:

The topic of this disertation is investment into photovoltaic powerplant which has been operational since 2010. Specifically, the logistical and legal aspects as well as the capital investment necessary into the operation of a photovoltaic powerplant. The theoretical part consists of two segments;one part describes the various applications of the alternative energy sources while the second part focuses on the methods used to evaluate the investment and the rules that need to be obide by in order to achieve the quality of data needed to correctly evaluate the investment. The applied portion assumes an actual investment project into a powerplant built on a roof of a facility. Further, the applied portion fully describes the investment process including its various phases. In the preliminary analysis of the investment, the author studies its feasibility and evaluates the level of capitalization of the organization. Furthermore, the study suggest the workflow that needs to be achieved in order for the powerplant to be on time and on budget. The final part of the study focuses on the differences that occurred during the lifecycle of the investment and describes the impact of the legislative changes on the return on investment.
