Using Artificial Intelligence to Create Test Functions for Evolutionary Algorithms

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na tvorbu nástroje, který je schopen s využitím technik umělé inteligence, konkrétně Analytického Programování (AP) ve spojení s evolučním algoritmem založeným na Diferenciální Evoluci (DE), vytvářet nové testovací funkce. Algoritmus funkce vyvíjí na základě jejich vlastností, zjištěných průzkumnou analýzou krajiny (ELA), s cílem získat diverzifikovanou sadu testovacích funkcí, více pokrývající prostor problémů, ve srovnání s vybranými testovacími sadami.

Abstract:

This work is focused on the creation of a tool that is capable of creating new test functions using artificial intelligence techniques, specifically Analytical Programming (AP) in conjunction with an evolutionary algorithm based on Differential Evolution (DE). The algorithm evolves functions based on their features, measured by Exploratory Landscape Analysis (ELA), in order to obtain a diversified set of test functions, more covering the problem space, compared to the selected test sets.
