Hlavním cílem mé diplomové práce bylo představit Davida Bechera jako člověka, který měl velký vliv na modernizaci lázeňství. Tato diplomová práce je rozdělena na čtyři části. V první části se zabývám historií Karlových Varů a historií lázeňství. Ve druhé části jsem se zaměřila na Davida Bechera a dynastii Becherů. Abstract:
The main aim of my diploma thesis was to introduce David Becher as a man, who had a great influence on modernising balneology. This diploma thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part I have dealt with history of Karlovy Vary and history of balneology. In the second part I have focused on David Becher and the Becher dynasty.
