Social Work with Endangered Children in the Context of Low-Threshold Facilities for Children and Youth

Abstract:

Diplomová práce nese název Sociální práce s ohroženými dětmi v kontextu nízkoprahových zařízení pro děti a mládež. V úvodu diplomové práce je pojednáváno o důvodu volby uvedeného tématu. Teoretická část hovoří o sociální práci s ohroženými dětmi, definuje základní pojmy dané problematiky, jako např. ohrožené dítě, potřeby dítěte, syndrom CAN, dále nastiňuje základní systém péče o ohrožené děti v České republice. Teoretická část diplomové práce seznamuje čtenáře s nízkoprahovými zařízeními pro děti a mládež a s pracovníky, kteří v těchto zařízeních figurují. V neposlední řadě se zabývá sociální prací s ohroženými dětmi v nízkoprahových zařízeních pro děti a mládež v zahraničních zemích. V metodické části diplomové práce je použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat, jaké profesní nároky jsou kladeny na pracovníky a pracovnice při práci s ohroženými dětmi v kontextu nízkoprahových zařízení pro děti a mládež. V závěru diplomové práce jsou shrnuty výsledky výzkumného šetření.

Abstract:

In the introduction of the thesis there is a discussion about the reason for chosing the topic. The theoretical part talks about social work with endangered children, defines the key concepts of the issue. There is also a description of the basic system of the care of endangered children in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with low-threshold facilities for children and young and the thesis is also about the workers spending time with endangered children in the facilities. The other part of the thesis deals with social work with vulnerable children in low-threshold facilities for children and young people in foreign countries. The qualitative research strategy has been used in the methodical part of the thesis. The aim of the thesis is to analyse what professional demands are placed on workers being with at-risk children in the low-threshold facilities for children and young people. Finally the results of the research and the theoretical part have been summarised.
