Competitive Analysis of Banks in the Segment of Small and Medium Enterprises

Abstract:

In our work, we discuss the most important aspects of operating segment small and medium enterprises in commercial banks in Slovakia. The first part will focus on the characteristics of the Slovak banking and segment of small and medium enterprises in theory. In the second part we analyze and produce practical results. Our main goal is to compare operating segment of small and medium-sized enterprises in selected commercial banks. The main objective is supported by by-objectives, namely the comparison of primary and credit products surveyed banks. The last secondary objective is to analyze the segment small and medium-sized enterprises based on an online survey. Consultations with experts on the issue of ČSOB, SLSP, VUB, Tatra banka and UniCredit Bank, produce valuable information. We assume that the product range segment for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the operation of the segment will be on par with minor variations. Contribution of our work will be detailed comparison of overdraft loans and investment banks surveyed in nature, as well as with the results of an online survey. We will compare the technical parameters such as interest, fees, repayment, as well as non-technical parameters, which we included the rate approval, sales and communication skills of consultants.

Abstract:

V našej práci pojednávame o najdôležitejších aspektoch obsluhy segmentu malé a stredné podniky v komerčných bankách na Slovensku. V prvej časti sa zameriame na charakteristiku slovenského bankovníctva a segmentu malé a stredné podniky v teoretickej rovine, aby sme v druhej časti mohli daný segment analyzovať a priniesť praktické výsledky. Našim hlavným cieľom je porovnať obsluhu segmentu malé a stredné podniky vo vybraných komerčných bankách. Porovnáme základné a úverové produkty skúmaných bánk a spravíme analýzu segmentu malé a stredné podniky na základe internetového prieskumu. Konzultáciami s odborníkmi na túto problematiku z ČSOB, SLSP, VÚB, Tatra banky a UniCredit bank spracujeme cenné informácie. Predpokladáme, že produktová škála pre segment malé a stredné podniky ako aj obsluha daného segmentu bude na rovnakej úrovni s malými odchýlkami. Prínosom našej práce bude detailné porovnanie úverov kontokorentného a investičného charakteru v skúmaných bankách, ako aj podrobné výsledky internetového prieskumu. Prinesieme porovnanie technických parametrov ako sú úrok, poplatky, doba splácania ako aj netechnických parametrov, medzi ktoré sme zaradili rýchlosť schvaľovania, predajné a komunikačné schopnosti poradcov.
