Investment products intended for retail investors

Anotace:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je seznámení čtenáře s pojmem drobný investor a zároveň s pro něj vhodnými investičními instrumenty a možnostmi dosažení zisku při využíti těchto instrumentů. Nejperve bude vymezen okruh drobných investorů na základě zákona č. 204/2017 Sb., o podnikání na kapitálovém trhu. Dále budou probrané veškeré druhy investičních instrumentů s vymezením určitých instrumentů vhodných nejvíce pro drobné investory. Následně bude provedena srovnávací analýza a posouzena výkonnost takto vybraných investičních produktů. V závěru budou představeny hlavní problémy, s nimiž se drobný investor může potkat a na základě toho budou drobným investorům rovněž poskytnuta doporučení.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to acquaint the reader with the concept of retail investors and with the investment instruments suitable for them and the possibilities of making profit using these instruments. The first one will define the circle of retail investors on the basis of Act No. 204/2017 of Capital Market Business. Furthermore, all types of investment instruments will be discussed, with the identification of the instruments most suitable for retail investors. Subsequently, a comparative analysis will be carried out and the performance of the selected investment products will be assessed. Finally, the main challenges that a retail investor may encounter will be presented and based on this recommendations for retail investors will also be provided.
