Abstract:
Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá rozvratnou činnosťou FBI vo vzťahu k Americkému Hnutiu za občianske práva a hnutiu Black Power. Na príklade operácií, ktoré FBI podnikla k neutralizácii Martina Luthera Kinga a Čiernych Panterov v rámci tajného programu COINTELPRO je ukázaná neopodstatnenosť a nezákonnosť prijatých opatrení ako aj ich dopad.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis discusses the disruptive role of the FBI in the American Civil Rights and Black Power movements. On the example of operations implemented by the FBI under its secret program COINTELPRO in order to neutralize Martin Luther King and the Black Panther Party the thesis points to insufficient justification and illegality of the program as well as its impact on the targets.
