Design process as a tool for change in a scout group

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se věnuji skautskému středisku a komunitě kolem něj. Zaměřuji se na ty, kteří nejsou v komunitě příliš aktivní nebo už nejsou její součástí. Jsou to lidé, kteří udělali ve středisku spoustu práce a zaslouží si být i nadále součástí komunity tak, jak si přejí. Ve výzkumu procházím s respondenty designovým procesem a k získání dat využívám designové metody jako persony, focus group a Chci, aby.... Cí-lem výzkumu je zjistit jak by chtěli se střediskem komunikovat a jak se v komunitě zapojit. Z výsledků vyšlo, že je pro udržení komunity podstatná komunikace, která respondentům chyběla.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of building and maintaining a community around a scout group. I focus on those people who are not active in the community or are no longer part of it. They did a lot of work at the scout group in the past; they de-serve to be a part of the community in a way that suits them. I go through the design process with respondents in my research, and I use design methods like personas, focus groups, and “I wish this were…”. The research aims to determine how they would like to communicate with the group and participate in the community. The results showed that communication, which respondents lacked, was essential to sus-taining the community.
