Perception of inspection activity by kindergarten teachers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na mateřské školy a učitele v procesu hodnocení a kontroly. Podrobněji popisuje souvislost zavádění autoevaluace do mateřských škol, hodnocení škol a učitelů ze strany České školní inspekce a vnímání takové situace z psychologického hlediska. Dále sumarizuje poznatky týkající se činnosti, obsahu a forem práce České školní inspekce. Empirická část shrnuje data vztahující se k percepci realizované inspekční činnosti učitelkami mateřských škol. Tyto poznatky byly zjišťovány formou kvalitativně orientovaného výzkumu prostřednictvím polostrukturovaného interview s učitelkami mateřských škol. Ze zjištěných dat plyne, že percepce inspekční činnosti učitelek je velmi subjektivní. Liší na základě délky praxe, jejich očekávání, předchozích zkušenostech, a také na základě povahy a psychické odolnosti každé z nich.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis has theoretical-empirical character. The theoretical part is focused on nursery schools and teachers in the evaluation and control process. In detail it describes context introducing self-evaluation into nursery schools, schools and teacher´s evaluation by the Czech School Inspectorate and the perception of such a situation from a psychological aspect. Also summarizes findings concerning the activities, content and forms of work of the Czech School Inspection. The empirical part summarizes data concerning to percepcion of implemented activity of school inspection by kindergarten teachers. These findings were determined through qualitatively oriented research through semi-structured interviews with kindergarten teachers. From the data it follows, that the perception of the inspection activities for teachers is very subjective. It varies based on length of experience, expectations, previous experience, and also based on the nature and mental resilience each of her.
