Alternative Forms of Employment as a Consequence of the Current State of the Labor Market

Abstract:

Pracovní trh za posledních několik uplynulých let prošel řadou změn. Jedním z velkých trendů pracovního trhu je i možnost využít alternativní formy zaměstnávání ke klasickému pracovnímu poměru. Tyto možnosti otevřely cestu k zaměstnání mnoha lidem, kteří z určitých důvodů nemohli či nechtěli využít klasický pracovní poměr. Cílem práce bude determinovat alternativní formy zaměstnávání v ČR, a především pak určit preferované alternativní formy zaměstnávání ze strany zaměstnanců a ze strany zaměstnavatelů, a to včetně vysvětlení jejich motivů. V diplomové práci jsou rozebrány jednotlivé nejčastější možnosti alternativních forem zaměstnávání, včetně nových trendů. Dále je rozebrán pracovní trh a jeho vývoj v prostředí České republiky mezi lety 2017 – 2021. Bude především rozebíráno, jaké trendy a jak ovlivnily pracovní trh. Následně diplomová práce obsahuje sekundární analýzu dat v rámci užití alternativních forem zaměstnávání a také vlastní kvalitativní výzkum, který je zaměřen na možnosti alternativních forem zaměstnávání. Respondenti budou z řad řadových zaměstnanců i managementu, a napříč státní i soukromé (korporátní) sféry.

Abstract:

The labor market has undergone a number of changes over the past few years. One of the major trends in the labor market is the possibility of using alternative forms of employment to the classic employment relationship. These possibilities opened the way to employment for many people who, for certain reasons, could not or did not want to use a traditional employment relationship. The aim of the work will be to determine alternative forms of employment in the Czech Republic, and above all to determine the preferred alternative forms of employment on the part of employees and employers, including an explanation of their motives. The diploma thesis analyzes the most common alternative forms of employment, including new trends. Furthermore, the labor market and its development in the environment of the Czech Republic between 2017 and 2021 are discussed. What trends and how they affected the labor market will be analyzed. Subsequently, the diploma thesis contains a secondary data analysis within the framework of the use of alternative forms of employment, as well as its own qualitative research, which is focused on the possibilities of alternative forms of employment. Respondents will be from rank-and-file employees and management, and across the state and private (corporate) spheres.
