Determination of {$\beta$}-carotene in gelatine capsules
Abstract:
Cílem diplomové práce bylo najít a vypracovat vhodný postup izolace {$\beta$}-karotenu a současně zavést optimální chromatografickou metodu pro jeho stanovení v želatinových kapslích. Ke stanovení {$\beta$}-karotenu byla použita metoda HPLC s detekcí ECD. Byly vypracovány vhodné extrakční postupy a optimální chromatografické podmínky pro detekci {$\beta$}-karotenu v želatinových kapslích.
Abstract:
The aim of this work was to develope and detect a suitable procedure for isolation of the {$\beta$}-carotene and installation optimal chromatographic conditions for its determination in gelatine capsules. To determine the amount of {$\beta$}-carotene the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) method with ECD detector was used.
