Diagnosis of six-year-old child in kindergarden

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá diagnostikou školní zralosti u šestiletých dětí v mateřské škole. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak jsou vyvinuté šestileté děti v mateřské škole a identifikovat případné nedostatky, na kterých je třeba zapracovat. V teoretické části jsou popsány důležité aspekty předškolního vzdělávání, diagnostiky a školní zralosti. Také jsou zde uvedeny diagnostické metody, které jsou později použity v praktické části. Hlavním výzkumným problémem řešeným v praktické části této práce je míra vývoje dětí, které by měly započít povinnou školní docházku. Tento vývoj je měřen několika různými testy a metodami. Z diagnostických metod byly použity částečně standardizovaný rozhovor a strukturované pozorování se záznamem do připravených archů se sledovanými kategoriemi. Také byly použity testy měřící úroveň sledovaných funkcí.

Abstract:

This bacherol thesis deals with the diagnostics of school maturity of six-year-old children in kindergarden. The goal of the thesis is to determine how developer six-year-old children in kindergarden are and to indetify any deficiencies that need to be addressed. The theoretical part describes important aspects of preschool education, diagnostics, and school maturity. Diagnostic methods, which are later used in practical part, are also presented. The main research problem eddressed in the practical part of this thesis is the level of development of children who should start compulsory school atendance. This development is measured by several different tests and methods. Partially standardized interviews and structured observation with records of observed categories were used as diagnostic methods. Tests measuring the level of observed functions were also used.
