Education of women in towns in the Early Modern Period

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám pohledem na ženu v období raného novověku. V úvodu práce nejdříve stručně shrnu prameny a literaturu, která mi posloužila k vypracování práce. V další části práce obecně shrnu postavení žen v dějinách společnosti už od samého počátku dějin. Obecný náhled je důležitý pro pochopení kontextu dobové reality. Postavení žen popíši z několika úhlů pohledu, které byly pro danou dobu typické. Konkretizovat budu například postavení ženy v literatuře. Objasnit postavení žen v literatuře raného novověku je cílem mé práce. Učiním tak pomocí charakterizace vybraných textů z období raného novověku.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I am describing average women in the early modern period. In the introduction of this work, I briefly summarize the sources and literature that helped me to develop this thesis. The next section will summarize the status of women in general in society from the very beginning of history. The general view is important for understanding the context of contemporary reality. I will describe the status of women from several points of view that were typical for the time. For example, I specify the position of women in literature. Clarifying the Status of women in early modern literature is the goal of my work. I will do so by using the characterization of women in selected texts from the early modern period.
