Inventory of the occurrence of the rowan (Sorbus aucuparia L.) in selected forest stands of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy (Baraní district)

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na inventarizaci jeřábu ptačího (Sorbus aucuparia L.) ve vybraných porostech Moravskoslezských Beskyd. Inventarizace probíhala v biskupských lesích Ostravsko – Opavské diecéze v k.ú. obce Bílá. Rozloha inventarizované oblasti je 191,58 hektarů. Celkem bylo zinventarizováno 60 porostů ve třech odděleních. V každém porostu byly zvoleny zkusné plochy. Na jednotlivých plochách byli spočítáni a změřeni jak jedinci jeřábu ptačího, tak i mateřský porost. Na třech vybraných stanovištích se u jeřábu ptačího kromě výšky změřil též průměr kořenového krčku, byl stanoven počet poškození zvěří a v laboratoři byl určen jejich věk. Získaná data byla analyzována v Excelu. Průměrný počet jedinců jeřábu ptačího na hektar je 2854 kusů. U výškové struktury je nejvíce jedinců v rozmezí do 20 centimetrů a od 21 do 50 centimetrů. U většiny porostů zastoupení smrku přesahovalo 50 %. Průměrné stáří náletu jeřábu je 5,5 let a každý jedinec byl v průměru 4,5x poškozen zvěří.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the inventory of rowan (Sorbus aucuparia L.) in selected forest stands of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy. The inventory was carried out in the bishop's forests of the Ostrava-Opava Diocese in the cadastral district of Bílá. The expanse of the inventory area is 191.58 hectares. Altogether 60 stands were inventoried in three departments. Sample plots were selected in each stand. Both rowan and maternal stand trees were counted and measured on individual plots. At the three selected plots, in addition to the height of the rowan, the diameter of the root collar was measured, the number of game damage was determined, and their age was identified in the laboratory. The obtained data were analyzed in Excel. The average number of rowans per hectare is 2854. In the height structure, most individuals are within 20 centimetres and 21 to 50 centimetres. In most stands, the percentage of spruce exceeded 50%. The average age of individuals from natural regeneration is 5.5 years and each individual has been on average 4.5 times damaged by game.
