Relationship between immigrant and integration policies and integration of Muslims - a comparison of the United Kingdom and Germany

Anotace:

Cílem mé teoretické bakalářské práce je deskripce a komparace imigračních a integračních politik a situace v oblasti integrace muslimů ve Velké Británii a Německu. Zajímá mě, jestli imigrační a integrační politiky některé země byly úspěšnější v integraci muslimů, a pokud ano, tak z jakého důvodu. V případě popisu imigračních a integračních politik vycházím převážně z oficiálních vládních dokumentů, v případě integrace muslimů z mezinárodních i národních šetření postojů a hodnot a z oficiálních národních statistik.

Abstract:

The aim of my Bachelor thesis is to describe and compare the immigration and integration politics and the situation in integration of Muslims in Great Britain and Germany. I am interested whether the immigration and integration politics of one country were more successful in the integration of Muslims and if so, why. In the case of description of the immigration and integration politics I result from official government documents, in the case of integration of Muslims from international and national surveys and from national statistics.
