Leoš Janáček and Jan Kunc - Documentation of the Relationship of Two Outstanding Composers

Anotace:

Práce dokumentuje vztah Leoše Janáčka a Jana Kunce. Je zaměřena na Janáčka jako na učitele Jana Kunce a v neposlední řadě se bude zevrubně zabývat obdobím dvacátých let, kdy Kunc nahradil Janáčka ve funkci ředitele konzervatoře. Cílem této práce je také edice vzájemné korespondence mezi Leošem Janáčkem a Janem Kuncem.

Abstract:

This thesis documents the relationship between Leoš Janáček and Jan Kunc. It focuses on Janáček as the teacher of Jan Kunc and, not least, on 1920’s in which Kunc took over Janáček’s position of the director of the conservatory. The aim of this thesis is also the edition of correspondence between Leoš Janáček and Jan Kunc.
