Living conditions comparison of prisoners in chosen penitentiary and custodial prison

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se snaží poodhalit životní podmínky vězňů ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody a vězňů ve výkonu vazby. Hlavním, tedy poznávacím cílem práce je zjistit jaké jsou, čím se liší a v čem se podobají životní podmínky dospělých vězňů ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody a ve výkonu vazby. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny důležité pojmy, které se vztahují jak k výzkumné otázce, tak k výzkumnému tématu, dále jsou přiblíženy principy Evropských vězeňských pravidel a souvislosti týkající se problematiky výkonu trestu odnětí svobody a výkonu vazby. Předloženy jsou existující teoretické koncepty zabývající se účelem a funkcí trestu a dále pak realizační komponenty výchovné funkce trestu a jejich realizace. V metodologické části jsou v souvislosti ke stanovenému poznávacímu cíli práce interpretována získaná data a v závěru práce jsou zmíněny také limity práce.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor study is to reveal living conditions of adult prisoners in execution of a punishment of imprisonment and in the custodial arrest. The main target of the study is to discover differences and similarities in living conditions of both groups. Theoretical part contains explanation of important terms referring to both the research question and the research topic. There are explained the principles of European prison rules and coherences related to problems of the performance of the penal imprisonment and of the custorial arrest. There are introduced theoretical being concepts dealing with the purpose and the function of a punishment and realization components of educational function of a punishment and their realization. Methodological part contains interpretation of the gained data and in the epilogue there are showed work limits also.
