Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá výzkumem interakce elektrického pole s ionty těžkých kovů pro účely vývoje prototypu zařízení na separaci těchto kovů z odpadních vod a čistírenských kalů. V první části práce jsou popsány těžké kovy a problematika čistírenských kalů. V další části jsou probírány konvenční metody odstranění těžkých kovů z odpadních vod a čistírenských kalů. V praktické části práce je popsán postup vývoje a konstrukce prototypu zařízení na odstranění těžkých kovů, jeho testování a samotné experimenty separace těžkých kovů z odpadních vod a čistírenských kalů. Následují výsledky a diskuse nad prováděnými experimenty, míry odstranění kovů z vod a čistírenského kalu, procesy při separaci účinkem elektrického pole, funkčnosti a efektivity prototypu zařízení, zhodnocení kritických míst a možnostech vylepšení prototypu. V závěru práce jsou uvedeny dosažené výsledky při procesu separace těžkých kovů, posouzení použitelnosti prototypu, uvedení dalších výhod při aplikaci elektrického pole na čistírenský kal a zhodnocení přínosů nasazení prototypu a jeho dopad napříč různými oblastmi.

Abstract:

The dissertation deals with research on the interaction of an electric field with heavy metal ions for the purpose of developing a prototype device for the separation of these metals from waste water and sewage sludge. In the first part of the thesis, heavy metals and the issue of sewage sludge are described. In the next part, conventional methods of removing heavy metals from wastewater and sewage sludge are discussed. The practical part of the thesis describes the development and construction of a prototype device for the removal of heavy metals, its testing, and the actual experiments on the separation of heavy metals from wastewater and sewage sludge. The results and discussion of the experiments carried out, the rates of removal of metals from water and sewage sludge, the processes of separation by the effect of an electric field, the functionality and efficiency of the prototype of the device, the evaluation of critical points and the possibilities of improving the prototype follow. At the end of the thesis, the results achieved during the process of separation of heavy metals, an assessment of the usability of the prototype, an indication of other advantages when applying an electric field to sewage sludge and an evaluation of the benefits of deploying the prototype and its impact across different areas are presented.
