Usage of computers in education at primary schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím počítačů ve výuce na základních školách. V oblasti výpočetní techniky dochází k neustálému rozvoji, a tím nastávají nové možnosti uplatnění těchto technologií ve výuce, a to nejen na základních školách. Práce je rozdělena do pěti tématických celků. První část práce je zaměřena na problematiku informačních a komunikačních technologií a jejich roli ve vzdělávání. A to jak v oblasti historického vývoje, tak i v oblasti současného využití těchto technologií na obou stupních základního školství v ČR. V druhé části práce se věnuji otázce Státní informační politiky ve vzdělávání. Zmiňuji zde důvody vzniku a samotnou realizaci SIPVZ. Podrobně zde rozepisuji průběh tohoto projektu včetně závěrečného shrnutí. Aktuálním možnostem využití počítače ve školství se věnuji v třetím tématickém celku. V této kapitole se zmiňuji o ICT technologiích, které se v dnešní době nejčastěji používají při výuce. Ve čtvrté části této práce je podle předem stanovených kritérií provedeno srovnání vybraných výukových programů, které byly zavedeny do praxe během realizace SIPVZ. Poslední kapitola této práce je zaměřena na praktickou využitelnost počítačů ve výuce. Bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření za účelem zjištění aktuální situace využití ICT technologií ve výuce na základních školách. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit úroveň počítačové gramotnosti učitelů základních škol, četnost využívání informačních a komunikačních technologií a v neposlední řadě také využití materiálně didaktických prostředků ve výuce.

Abstract:

Thesis is engaged in usage of computers in education at primary schools. There is continuous development in computer technology branch and thanks to that there are new possibilities of use of these technologies in education not only at primary schools. Thesis is split into five thematic units. The first part of the work is focused on questions of information and communication technologies and their role in education. Respectively in area of historical progress, and also in area of present usage of these technologies at primary schools in the Czech Republic. The second part of work I address to question of State information policy in education. Here, I allude to reasons of formation and realization of SIPVZ itself. I write here in details about process of this project including final summary. I deal with current possibilities of computer usage in education system in the third thematic unit. In this chapter I allude to ICT technologies, which have been most often used in education nowadays. In the fourth part of the work there is carried out comparison of educational programs which were based on defined criteria in advance. These educational programs were instituted into practice during realization of SIPVZ. The last chapter of the work is focused on practical usage of computers in education. There was realized questionnaire investigation to find out current situation of usage ICT technologies in education at primary schools. The goal of the research was to find out primary school?s teachers level of computer literacy, frequency of usage of information and communication technologies and last but not least usage of material-didactic resources in education too.
