Cílem této práce je seznámit s úvodem do teorie řetězových zlomků. Je zde definovaný konečný a nekonečný řetězový zlomek. Dále je definovaný částečný zlomek a jeho vlastnosti. Uvedena jsou taktéž kritéria konvergence řetězových zlomků. Dále rozvoj funkcí v řetězový zlomek nebo řešení LDR 2. řádu pomocí řetězových zlomků. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the introduction to the theory of continued fractions. There is a finite and infinite continued fraction defined here. Furthermore, a convergents and its properties are defined. The criteria for convergence of continued fractions are also given.
