Post-surgical rehabilitative treatment of shoulder rotator cuff injury with hydrokinesis therapy: clinical case

Abstract:

The use of aids and floats facilitates the execution of the exercises, all under the careful supervision of the therapists who carefully monitor the patient's progress. The active working modality represents the peculiarity of hydrokinesitherapy compared to traditional dry physiotherapy, in which the patient, especially in the initial stages, is subjected to passive movements. The best strategy is therefore to use both modalities, in order to obtain an early and effective recovery. In conclusion, by analyzing a real clinical case with rotator cuff deficiency and, in particular, subacromial impingement, it can be seen that recovery with hydrokinesitherapy offers numerous advantages for a complete and less painful recovery.

Abstract:

L'idrokinesiterapia assume un ruolo fondamentale nel processo di recupero psico- fisico ottimale dopo un trauma. I benefici derivanti dalle propriet? fisiche dell'acqua influiscono sui sistemi muscolo-scheletrico, cardiovascolare, nervoso e respiratorio. Di conseguenza, l'idrokinesiterapia agisce in modo positivo sul carico, sul riassorbimento degli edemi e sul rilassamento muscolare. Gli effetti generati da tali propriet? fisiche consentono di raggiungere precocemente gli obiettivi stabiliti dal medico e dai fisioterapisti, garantendo una riabilitazione migliore e meno dolorosa.
