Diplomová práce se zabývá rozborem tématu metamorfózy a metafory v novele Kostase Varnalise, Pénelopin deník. Nutné je přiblížení autorových uměleckých prostředků, antických symbolů pro sociálněkritickou satiru, které čerpal z Homérovy Odysseiy. Samotný charakter postav, již mytologickému eposu neodpovídá. In my work I deal with novella The Diary of Penelope by Kostas Varnalis. First I mention the biographical information about the author. Then I cover the list of his works with brief notes on them; and also authors psychological development in connection to his works.
