Unemployment problematics viewed by the physically disabled

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Problematika nezaměstnanosti pohledem osob s tělesným postižením“ pojednává o obtížné situaci osob s tělesným postižením, které chtějí pracovat, ale jejich zdravotní stav a jiné faktory jim to neumožňují. Lidé s tělesným postižením jsou početnou skupinou osob, která je znevýhodněna na trhu práce, což více než u jiných skupin může vést k exkluzi a sociální izolaci. V teoretické části práci se zabývám jednotlivými typy nezaměstnanosti a tím, jak působí na osoby se zdravotním, potažmo tělesným postižením. Popisuji zde jednotlivé skupiny osob se zdravotním postižením a nastiňuji také možnosti řešení a příklad dobré praxe při zaměstnávání osob se zdravotním postižením. V praktické části práce se zaměřuji na rozbor jednotlivých rozhovorů s respondenty. Prostřednictvím kvalitativního výzkumu analyzuji data a hledám příčiny možného neúspěchu, jakým způsobem se s nezaměstnaností respondenti vyrovnávají a jak pohlíží na podporu státní politiky zaměstnanosti.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis “Unemployment problematics viewed by the physically disabled“ deals with the difficult situation of the handicapped people who want to work but their health condition and other factors do not enable them to do so. The physically handicapped are a numerous group of people that are disadvantaged at the employment market, which can more than with other groups lead to exclusion and social isolation. In the theoretical section of the thesis I deal with various types of unemployment and the way it affects the disabled, especially the physically disabled. I describe individual groups of the handicapped, suggesting possible solutions as well as an example of good experience when helping handicapped people to find work. In the practical section I focus on the analysis of specific interviews with the respondents. By way of qualitative research I analyze data and search for causes of possible failure, how respondents cope with unemployment and how they view the state employment politics support.
