Financial Institutions in Brno from 1848 to 1918

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo vytvořit seznam peněžních ústavů v Brně v časovém období 1848 až 1918, poté se zaměřit na tři z nich a popsat jejich správu a činnost. Tato práce také obsahuje detailně vypracovanou historii těchto tří ústavů. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na základní problémy peněžního vývoje Rakouského císařství a Rakousko-Uherska v letech 1848 až 1918, problémy spojené se zakládáním peněžních ústavů, a historii peněžních ústavů v Brně s ohledem na tendence z Evropy a monarchie.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor theses was to make a list of financial institutions in Brno with a time range from 1848 to 1918, and to aim at three of them and describe their management and activities. This theses also includes detailed history of these three institutions. The theoretical part deals with basical problems of financial development of Austrian Empire and Austro-Hungarian Empire in years from 1848 to 1918, problems connected to foundation of financial institutions and history of financial institutions in Brno concidering tendencies of Europe and monarchy.
