Analysis of synkinematic mineralization at Drahany Uplands

Abstract:

Kulmské slepence v kamenolomu v Lulči jsou protknuty tektonickými zlomy, na jejichž plochách je vyvinuta křemen-kalcit-laumontitová mineralizace. Převládající silně kompresní režim v oblasti zapříčinil vznik zlomů a nadložní kra se začala sunout směrem na V. Teplá fluida se nabohatila vápníkem z rozkládajících se plagioklasů v okolních valounech granulitů. Ochlazováním těchto roztoků se na plochách trhlin vyvinuly minerály alpské parageneze. Mineralizace vznikala synkinematicky za nízkých tlaků a teplot v rozmezí 145–180 °C v hloubce 3–4,8 km pod povrchem.

Abstract:

Culm conglomerates in the quarry in Luleč are intersected by tectonic fault. Quartz-calcite-laumontite mineralization is formed on their planes. The dominant compressed mode caused formation of fault and overlying landscape began to shift in the direction of East. Warm fluids were enriched by calcium from decomposing plagioclase from the surrounding boulders granulites. Alpine paragenesis minerals were developed by cooling of these solutions on the planes of the faults. This mineralization was formed synkinematically at low pressures and temperatures in the range 145–180 °C at the depths between 3–4,8 km below the surface.
