Hlavným cieľom je posúdiť vývoj inflácie v hlavných skupinách krajín sveta podľa klasifikácie MMF s poukázaním na možnosti riešenia tohto makroekonomického problému. Bakalárska práca je rozdelená na štyri kapitoly. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na definíciu a meranie inflácie.
