Personal Prerequisites Manager of the 21st Century

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Osobnostní předpoklady manažera 21. století“ pojednává o moderním managementu 21. století. V první části práce staví na klasických školách managementu, které daly základní stavební kameny pro management a řízení lidí. V další části práce rozebírá moderní management tak, jak jej vnímáme dnes a vystihuje posun od řízení spíše direktivního ke konzultativnímu vedení. Hledá také odpověď na rozdíly mezi manažerem a lídrem. Dále práce uvádí moderní management do kontextu s etikou, morálkou a právním vědomím. V praktické části jsou zpracovány rozhovory se třemi moderními lídry, které v závěru porovnáme s předešlou teorií.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis “Personal requirements for managers in 21st Century” deals with modern management of 21st Century. In its first part the thesis starts with classical management approaches, that laid ground floor of management and people management. In the second part the thesis analyses modern management in current view and depicts the shift from directive approach towards consultative management. The thesis also looks for differences between manager and leader. Modern management is then put into context with ethics, morals and legal consciousness. In the part devoted to praxis, there are three interviews with modern leaders, and those are then compared with presented theory.
