Long-term investment potential in the semiconductor sector

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Dlouhodobý potenciál investování do sektoru polovodičů“ je s využitím vybraných metod fundamentální analýzy stanovit vnitřní hodnotu akcií vybraných společností ze sektoru polovodičů a na základě provedené analýzy formulovat investiční doporučení pro investorskou veřejnost. Teoretická část práce vymezuje fundamentální analýzu a pojednává o jejích aspektech. V praktické části jsou pak metody fundamentální analýzy aplikovány na vybrané společnosti ze sektoru polovodičů. Na závěr je formulováno investiční doporučení vycházející z výsledků fundamentální analýzy.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis “Long-term investment potential in the semiconductor sector” is to determine the intrinsic value of shares of selected companies from the semiconductor sector using selected methods of fundamental analysis and to formulate investment recommendations for investors based on the analysis performed. The theoretical part of the thesis defines fundamental analysis and deals with its aspects. In the practical part, the methods of fundamental analysis are applied to selected companies from the semiconductor sector. Finally, investment recommendations based on the results of fundamental analysis are formulated.
