Evaluation of the varietal assortment of lettuce under conditions of organic production

Abstract:

Diplomová práce byla zaměřena na pěstování sortimentu salátu v ekologické produkci a hodnocení vlivu odrůdy a mulče na výnosové parametry a napadení Bremia lactucae. V literární rešerži bylo popsáno ekologické zemědělství, jeho principy, současný stav v ČR. Bylo popsáno konvenční a integrované pěstování. Dále bylo popsáno pěstování salátu, jeho nároky na stanoviště, výživu, sklizeň, balení, výnosové a kvalitativní parametry. Na závěr literární rešerže byly popsány choroby a škůdci se zaměřením na plíseň salátovou a mulčování rostlin. V experimentální části práce bylo hodnoceno 6 odrůd salátu (salát listový: Dubáček, Herkules, salát ledový: Kamelot, Traper, Antard, Larsen) a vliv mulčovaného a nemulčovaného pozemku. U salátu bylo provedeno hodnocení výnosu a napadení rostlin Bremia lactucae. Data byla statisticky zpracována v programu Statistica. Bylo prokázáno, že na mulčovaném pozemku byl lepší výnos a snížilo se napadení plísní salátovou u většiny odrůd salátu v závislosti na období sklizně.

Abstract:

The work focused on lettuce cultivation in organic production and evaluation of the effect of cultivar and mulch on yield parameters and lettuce Bremia lactucae infestation. The literature search described organic farming, its principles and current status in the Czech Republic. Conventional and integrated cultivation were described. The cultivation of lettuce, its habitat requirements, nutrition, harvesting, packaging, yield and quality parameters were also described. At the end of the literature search, diseases and pests were described with a focus on Bramia lactucae and mulching of plants. In the experimental part of the work, 6 lettuce varieties (leaf lettuce: Dubáček, Herkules, iceberg lettuce: Kamelot, Traper, Antard, Larsen) and the effect of mulched and non-mulched plots were evaluated. In lettuce, yield and plant infestation by the fungus Bremila lactucae were evaluated. The data were statistically processed in Statistica. It showed that mulched plots had better yield and reduced Bremia lactucae lettuce infestation in most lettuce varieties depending on the harvesting period.
