Performance Management of IT Support Companies

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je seznámení čtenáře s komplexností zajišťování IT podpory ve firemním prostředí a možností jejího úspěšného řízení s využitím moderních přístupů, jakými jsou ITIL a performance management. Dále uvědomění si velkého množství dat, která nás v nejrůznější podobě obklopují a nabídnout ukázku možné analýzy a prezentace dat vybraného datového souboru. Výsledná data budou využita pro zhodnocení kvality uživatelské podpory a pro další řízení IT pomocí performance managementu. V praktické části budou prezentovány současné klíčové ukazatele výkonu zvoleného IT oddělení a vhodná doporučení vzešlá z analýzy dat a ze zkušeností.

Abstract:

Aim of this work is to familiarize the reader with the complexity of providing IT support in a corporate environment and with the possibilities for its successful management using modern approaches such as ITIL and performance management. Furthermore, the realization of large amounts of data in various forms, which are available to us. And show of sample analysis and data presentation of the selected data file. The resulting data will be used for evaluation of the quality of user support and for performance management. Current key performance indicators of selected IT department and appropriate recommendations resulting from data analysis and experience will be introduced in practical part of the work.
