Infidelity, a major milestone in the lives of the wives and mothers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce: „Nevěra – zásadní mezník v životě manželek a matek“ se zabývá vlivem tohoto nežádoucího jevu na život žen, které do té doby žily vcelku poklidným rodinným životem. Cílem práce je rozkrýt případné varovné signály nevěry, ale především popsat následky, které odhalení tohoto jevu přineslo pro rodinu jako celek, ale i pro konkrétní členy, především podváděnou manželku a děti. V teoretické části se zabývám předpoklady vzniku nevěry, a to vznikem a vývojem interpersonálních vztahů, nevěrou jako takovou a následkem jejího odhalení – rozpadem rodiny zapříčiněným rozvodem. Praktická část je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu s využitím metody případové studie. Otevřeným kódováním jsem analyzovala data čtyř narativních rozhovorů. Cílem praktické části je prozkoumat, zda nevěra může mít kromě negativního, také pozitivní vliv na další život podvedené ženy.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis "Infidelity - a major milestone in the life of wives and mothers" deals with the impact of this adverse phenomenon on women's lives who had lived quite peaceful family life. The aim is to uncover the possible warning signs of infidelity but also to describe the consequences of the disclosure of this phenomenon that has brought to the family as a whole, but also to specific members, especially to a betrayed wife and children. The theoretical part deals with the preconditions of infidelity that means the emergence and development of interpersonal relationships, infidelity itself and the effect of its revelation – a family breakdown caused by a divorce. The practical part of the thesis is based on qualitative research using case study methods. Using open coding, I analysed data from the four narrative interviews. The aim of the practical part is to explore whether infidelity may have the negative as well as the positive impact on the future life of a victimized woman.
