Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat a srovnat romány Gotická duše Jiřího Karáska ze Lvovic a Selhání Dazaie Osamu. V teoretické části je poskytnut literární kontext a shrnutí životů autorů a jejich tvorby. Praktická část se skládá z analýzy obou románů a jejich srovnání. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and compare the novels A Gothic Soul by Jiří Karásek ze Lvovic and No Longer Human by Dazai Osamu. In the theoretical part, a literary context and a summary of the authors' lives and work is provided. The practical part consists of the analysis of both novels and their comparison.
