Obesity of Adults - A Disease and Risk Factor.
Abstract:
Teoretická část diplomové práce upozorňuje na obezitu jako samostatné onemocnění, ale také, jako na jeden ze závažných rizikových faktorů vedoucí k rozvoji dalších onemocnění. Výzkumná část této práce zjišťuje úroveň zdravotního stavu, stravovacích návyků a znalostí populace o tomto onemocnění, a také výskyt sekundárních komplikací obezity.
Abstract:
The theoretical part of the thesis draws attention to obesity as a separate disease, but also as one of the serious risk factors leading to the development of other diseases. The research part of this thesis ascertains the level of health state, eating habits and knowledge about the disease within the population, and the incidence of secondary complications of obesity as well.
