Radiation exposure in TIPS creation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem ,,Radiační zátěž při TIPS" je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá popisem portální hypertenze, její diagnostikou a léčbou. Hlavním tématem je indikace, kontraindikace a technika provedení transjugulární intra hepatální portosystémové spojky. Zároveň je zmíněna radiační ochrana pacientů a personálu. V praktické části je zpracována skupina pacientů, kteří podstoupili vytvoření TIPS na Angi-ointervenčním oddělení Radiologické kliniky Fakultní nemocnice Hradec Králové v období dvou let. Z těchto dat byla porovnána váha, výška, věk, BMI, DAP a Air Kerma.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis titeld "Radiation exposure in TIPS creation" is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the portal hypertension, its diagnosis and treatment. The main theme is the inclusion, contraindication and technique of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt. It is also mentioned radiation protection of patients and staff. In the practical part there is a group of patients who underwent the creation of TIPS at the Angi-Intervention Department of the Radiology Clinic of the University Hospital in Hradec Kralove for two years. These data were used to compare weight, height, age, BMI, DAP and Air Kerma.
