Movement as a means of communication in the West Side Story musical
Abstract:
Diplomová práce Pohyb jako komunikační prostředek v muzikálu West Side Story se zabývá otázkou interpretace choreografií v hudebním divadle tj. obsahovou a technickou stránkou pohybu. Výzkum bude veden skrze porovnávání tří verzí muzikálu West Side Story, na základě jediného zdroje původní choreografie a tím je filmová verze tohoto díla z roku 1961.
Abstract:
Diploma thesis „Movement as a means of communication in the West Side Story musical” explores interpretation of choreography in selected production of this tittle. This study especially deals with creation of choreography in musical theater i.e. content and technical aspects of movement.
