Experience of father's absence in connection with male role identification

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá prožíváním mužů, jimž otec, jakožto model mužské role, v nějakém věku chyběl. Zajímalo mě především jak se s nepřítomností otce vyrovnávali a jaký význam přisuzují roli otce ve výchově. Hledala jsem odpovědi na takové otázky, jako: Jaký význam přisuzují muži, kteří vyrůstali bez otce, jeho roli v procesu identifikace s mužskou rolí? Jak důležitá je představa otce pro formování mužské role? Jaký význam měl pro utváření mužské role konkrétní mužský vzor? Jak sami muži, kteří vyrůstali bez otce, vymezují mužskou roli? Vnímají muži, kteří vyrůstali bez otce, jeho potřebu v procesu separace? Jaký vztah mají muži, kteří vyrůstali bez otce, se svou matkou? Výzkum probíhal prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s muži, kteří, ať už objektivně či subjektivně, vyrůstali bez otce. Účastnilo se ho sedm mužů mezi 21 - 46 lety.

Abstract:

This work deals with the experience of men who grew up without father like a male role model. My primary interest was to find out how they faced up to the father absence and what significance attribute to the father role education. I found out the answers to questions like: What significance attribute men who grew up without father his role in the male role identification process? How important is the imagination of father to shaping the male role? What significance had for the creating of male role the concrete male model? How the men who grew up without father enclose the male role? Do the men who grew up without father perceive his need during the separation process? What relationships have the men who grew up without father with their mothers? The research proceeded through semi-standardized interviews with men who subjectively or objectively grew up without father. Seven men between 21-46 years participated.
