Waste material as an aesthetic value in a wall painting (Assemblage)

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku odpadu a jeho využití jako médium umělecké tvorby, zejména v kontextu nástěnných obrazů. Cílem práce je prozkoumat odpadový materiál jako estetickou hodnotu a zvýšit povědomí o jeho využití v umění. V teoretické části se věnují definici odpadu, rizikům spojeným s jeho produkcí, možnostem jeho využití v umění a běžném životě. Dále se práce věnuje historii odpadového materiálu v uměleckých směrech. Jedná se o teoreticko-praktickou práci, jejíž součástí je umělecká práce ve formě asambláží na téma odpad a voda, které jsou popsány a fotograficky zdokumentovány v praktické části. Tato práce představuje příklad, jak může být uměním zvýšeno povědomí o důležitých společenských problémech.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of waste and its use as a medium of artistic creation, especially in the context of wall paintings. The aim of the thesis is to explore waste material as an aesthetic value and to raise awareness of its use in art. The theoretical part deals with the definition of waste, the risks associated with its production, and the possibilities of its use in art and everyday life. Furthermore, the thesis explores the history of waste material in artistic directions. It is a theoretical-practical work, which includes artistic work in the form of assemblages on the theme of waste and water, which are described and photographically documented in the practical part. This work is an example of how art can raise awareness of important social issues.
