The issue of the use of castle buildings in the districts of Most and Teplice in the years 1945-1989.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce představuje problematiku využití a fungování zámeckých budov v okresech Most a Teplice v období od závěru druhé světové války do roku 1989. Informace o využití zámeckých budov jsou zpracovány na základě studia odborné literatury a archivního průzkumu, který vychází především z pramenů během studovaných let. Významnou součástí této práce je nástin vývoj památkově péče v ČSR po roce 1945, který nám umožňuje lépe komparovat zjištěné údaje o jednotlivých zámeckých objektech. Práce řadí jednotlivé zámecké objekty do kontextu s okresy, ve kterých se nachází, a představuje tak jejich stručnou charakteristiku z hlediska administrativního členění, přírodních předpokladů a historie. Součástí práce je také výstup specializovaných map, které mají přesněji zachytit proměny lokalit a uchování památek jako kulturní hodnoty, jelikož mnoho těchto objektů zaniklo již v průběhu sledovaného období z důvodu těžební činnosti a jiné několikrát změnily svou funkci.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis presents the issue of the use and functioning of castle buildings in the districts of Most and Teplice in the period from the end of the Second World War to 1989. Information on the use of castle buildings is based on the study of specialized literature and archival research, which is mainly based on sources during the studied years. An important part of this work is an outline of the development of heritage conservation in the Czechoslovakia after 1945, which allows us to better compare the data on individual castle buildings. The thesis places the individual castle buildings in context with the districts in which they are located, and thus presents a brief characterization of them in terms of administrative division, natural conditions and history. The work also includes the output of specialised maps to more accurately capture the changes of the sites and the preservation of the monuments as cultural assets, as many of these buildings have already disappeared during the period under study due to mining activities and others have changed their function several times.
