Defining client's order - the role of social worker and his or her client

Abstract:

Anotace Celkový počet slov v počitatelné části diplomové práce: 21 509 Diplomová práce se zabývá postavením objednávky klienta v průběhu intervence sociálního pracovníka. Cílem bylo zjistit, jaký je status formulace objednávky klienta v interakci mezi poskytovateli služeb sociální rehabilitace a jejich klienty. V první části jsou vysvětleny pojmy „objednávka“, „nabídka“, „zakázka“ a „status formulace objednávky“. Dále „symetrie a jednostrannost“, „interakce“ a další. Druhá část práce je tvořena výsledky empirického šetření a jejich interpretací. Na tomto místě jsem se zabývala charakteristikami interakce mezi pracovníky a klienty a způsobem jejich práce s klienty. Na základě zjištění je v závěru formulována odpověď na základní výzkumnou otázku. První a druhá část práce jsou spojeny prostřednictvím popisu použité metodiky zkoumání, kde jsou uvedeny základní výzkumné postupy.

Abstract:

My diploma work deals with the status of client´ s order during the intervention process of social worker. The aim of the work is to learn about the status of client´ s order statement during the intervention process running between a social rehabilitation service provider and his or her client. Terms such as “client´ s order”, “worker´ s offer”, “client´ s request” and “status of client´ s order statement are explained in the first part of the work as well as terms of “symmetry and unilateralism, asymmetry” and interaction. The second part of the work consists of results of my empirical research and its interpretation. At this point I deal with the characteristics of interaction running between social workers and their clients and with the work techniques used during the process. Based on the research the main experimental question is answered at the end of the work. The first and the second part of the work are connected by description of methodology of the research, where basic research procedures are also named.
