Abstract:
Proteinové tunely spojují aktivní místa enzymů s okolním prostorem. Tyto tunely na základě svých topologických a fyzikálně-chemických vlastností určují, které látky dosáhnou aktivního místa, ať se jedná o substráty nebo inhibitory. Abstract:
Protein tunnels connect active sites of enzymes with the surrounding solvent. Based on their topology and physico-chemical properties, tunnels determine which substances, whether they are substrates or inhibitors, reach the active site. Knowledge of protein tunnels allows us to improve understanding of the proteins function itself. Equipped by this knowledge, we can target these tunnels by the methods …more
